In the primordial days of Earth, dragons soared between Ethereum (the ethereal realm of divine will) and the corporeal world. Sent as messengers and guardians of balance by the Creator, they wielded unparalleled powers—commanding elements, bridging dimensions, and fostering harmony across all realms.
However, humanity, in their thirst for dominion, coveted the dragons’ powers. Through ancient spells and deceit, they convinced the dragons to serve them, guarding worldly treasures instead of universal truths. The dragons’ divine essence began to wane as they deviated from their sacred purpose.
When humanity’s greed led to ruinous wars, the dragons—by then weakened and vulnerable—failed to protect the treasures they were enslaved to guard. In anger and betrayal, humans turned against the dragons, imprisoning them in deep mountain caves. Forgotten by time, the great sentinel beings faded into myth. Some, however, escaped, shedding their scales and taking on human forms, hiding among the very beings who had betrayed them.
